Description

A downy woodpecker with distinctive black and white plumage perches on a pale birch branch, its head turned in profile against a warm, muted palette of sage green, golden yellow, and soft brown. The composition mimics a vintage postage stamp complete with a decorative scalloped border, rendered in a bold, graphic illustration style that captures the bird's characteristic posture and markings with confident, simplified forms.
